British thrash metal band [Xentrix](https://www.xentrix.co.uk/) has announced a new album, _Allied with the Enemy_, their seventh full-length and the follow-up to 2022's _Seven Words_. The record was again produced by Andy Sneap at Backstage Studios, with cover artwork from Dan Goldsworthy.
Thematically, the album takes on disinformation, blind popularity, societal and personal breakdown, and self-bias. _Allied with the Enemy_ is set for release later in 2026 via Listenable Records.
