NERGAL ties the choice of “In League With Satan” directly to the upcoming tour with DIMMU BORGIR. The idea was to find a slogan that actually means something, and VENOM’s legacy is the obvious reference point. Whether the tour name or the cover came first, even he’s not sure anymore. SHAGRATH’s vocal gives the track a different weight, and BEHEMOTH are already planning to bring this version into their live set.
Recording took place at SOUND OF RECORDS STUDIO, with extra bass tracked at HEINRICH HOUSE STUDIO. JENS BOGREN handled mixing and mastering. ENYA HAGEN THORESEN and SILJE HAGEN contributed additional vocals.
