"Whore of Bethlehem" is also back in print, giving new listeners and collectors a chance to hold both at once.

Recorded at MALMI DUNGEON with TEEMU VELIN in February, this eleven-track album lands in ARCHGOAT's thirty-seventh year.

The sound is not reinvented, and it does not need to be. ARCHGOAT have always been about conviction, not reinvention. The cover art is once again by CHRIS MOYEN, whose work has become inseparable from the band's visual identity.

ARCHGOAT started in 1989, built around the core of brothers RITUAL BUTCHERER and LORD ANGELSLAYER, with BLOOD DESECRATOR on drums.

Their "Angelcunt (Tales of Desecration)" EP in 1993 was a rupture point for Finnish black metal, raw and unapologetic. After a split with the scene and their label, they vanished, only to return in 2004. "Whore of Bethlehem" in 2006 was the first full-length, followed by "The Light-Devouring Darkness" and "The Apocalyptic Triumphator," the latter marking the start of their work with DEBEMUR MORTI PRODUCTIONS.

Between records, ARCHGOAT earned their reputation live, sharing stages with BEHEXEN, BLACK WITCHERY, and HELL MILITIA across Europe, the US, and Mexico. The band has always operated on their own terms, indifferent to trends and outside approval.

"The Luciferian Crown" arrived in 2018, followed by the live document "Black Mass XXX" from Paris in 2019.

"Worship the Eternal Darkness" in 2021 pulled together everything ARCHGOAT have always done — Finnish black/death, flashes of punk, thrash, grindcore — without losing focus.

The 2022 mini-album "All Christianity Ends" circled back to the spirit of their earliest work. From 2022 through 2026, the band stayed on the road, headlining DMP's Servants of Chaos festival in Germany and reaching new ground in Latin America and China.

ARCHGOAT's presence has never depended on geography or hype; it is built on persistence and intent.
