YELWORC(K) joined on bass, bringing experience from ERESHKIGAL and HELL’S VEINS.
The first CEREMONIAL release I could track down is a self-released promo CD from December 2011, just 50 copies, handed out at a Santiago gig with GRAVE DESECRATOR, DEATHLY SCYTHE, FORCE OF DARKNESS, and EJECUTOR. Two tracks: "Esfinge (Sphynx)" and "Solve et Coagula." At that point, EXECRADOR was handling guitars instead of IMPRECATOR. Fifty copies handed out at one show in Santiago in 2011 is about as narrow a release as it gets. Whoever wasn't in that room in December 2011 likely never got a copy, and it seems to have stayed that way since.
In 2012, they put out “Ars Antiqua,” a cassette demo through PAGAN SOUTH PRODUCTIONS and KURAVILÚ PRODUCTIONS. Two of its seven tracks — “Le Narg Reficul” and “Esfinge” — were re-recorded from material originally written for HEIL LUCIFER’s 2009 demo “Astral Culto Negro.” That thread ties CEREMONIAL directly back to the earlier projects these musicians came from.
“Ars Magicka” came next in March 2014, released as a 7-inch on BLOOD HARVEST out of Sweden — 250 copies on black vinyl, 50 on blue. LAPIS LAZULI handled the cassette version in Chile, and BLOOD HARVEST put it out digitally that July. Four tracks, recorded at MAD ARABIAN STUDIOS with drums tracked separately at FULLROCK: “The Cloud upon the Sanctuary,” “A.·.R.·.C.·.,” “Havohej,” and “Tribulations.” This is the release that put CEREMONIAL on the map outside Chile, and it’s still the most substantial and widely circulated record they’ve left behind.
After that, the trail goes cold. Metal Archives still lists CEREMONIAL as active, BLOOD HARVEST as the label, but nothing new — no full-length, no EP — has surfaced since 2014. The lineup changed somewhere along the way: LUCIFAGO is now listed as a past member, IMPRECATOR covers both guitars and vocals, YELWORC(K) stays on bass, BLIOL on drums. No date for the change, no explanation, and no sign of activity since. I reached out to BLOOD HARVEST and got silence. No official socials, no interviews, no live footage anywhere I could find.
